Megus – A desert world that was settled by outcasts from the other six worlds. Conditions on the barren rocky planet are made almost unbearable by the twin suns Rosa I & II. Their eerie, intense red light bombards the surface through a nearly cloudless sky. The Megus war left the planet sterile and lifeless as Federal Forces used bio-weapons to exterminate the few pathetic rebellious Free Spacers that clung to life. They had made the fatal mistake of believing their remoteness offered protection from the Maxors.

In the post-corporate era an attempt was made to teraform the harsh environment. This attempt was only partially successful with only the southern hemisphere responding. Slowly over time more misfits had gravitated to this event horizon for lost souls. Like the other worlds they demanded and received their own lesser Maxor. A clone that, unfortunately like his world, was imperfect and not quite the identical image of the other six Maxors. It was a fitting travesty that the Federals decided to relocate to Megus the weapons lab that had developed the toxic brew that left the original planet sterile.
